has been the largest no-download online cardroom since its inception in 1999. Though technically now one
of the skin sites in "The Poker Network", PokerRoom remains the principal entity of the Network.
In 2006, the Austrian company BetandWin.com purchased Ongame eSolutions, owners of PokerRoom.com.
Unlike other cardrooms which for the most part ignored the Apple/Mac/Linux market, Poker Room dominated
that niche for years before only recently getting competition from other major cardrooms.
PokerRoom also offers a "normal" download client for Windows users who prefer that.
PokerRoom.com offers Texas Hold'em, Omaha High, Omaha High-Low, Seven Card Stud, Seven Card Stud High-Low
and Five Card Draw. Ring games, single table and multi-table tournaments are provided. They offer daily
freeroll tournaments and some unique two day events.
A sister site, CasinoRoom.com allows players to try slots, blackjack, roulette, craps, baccarat, video poker,
pai gow poker and Chinese Poker. PokerRoom.tv accesses the play
money games available also on PokerRoom.com.
